In this match, Monaco continued to "imprison" the talented young striker Kylian Mbappe Lottin on the bench because of his recent rebellion to leave the club. However, Monaco still proved to be too strong for Marseille when they dominated the game and easily won 6-1.
Monaco's goals were scored by Kamil Glik (minute 2), Radamel Falcao (minutes 20, 34), Adama Diakhaby (minute 51), Djibril Sidibe (minute 68) and Fabinho (minute 79).
With this victory, Monaco continues to rank 2nd on the rankings after PSG (with the same 12 points but with a worse sub-index).
