MC Ky Duyen: 'I will get married if I love a billionaire'
The 51-year-old MC said she is satisfied with her life and her current love gives her the feeling of "enough".
- Lately, you rarely mention your lover. How is your love life now?
- My love life is still the same. I still date and love each other as long as I can and have no intention of getting married. But if I meet and fall in love with a billionaire, maybe I will change. Recently, some studies and surveys have shown that most billionaires are faithful.divorce rate is much lowercompared to millionaires. I was impressed with this information. Because after the breakup, I don't want to have to go to court with anyone again.
I admire the loyalty of billionaires, not just their money. However, it is just a fun experiment and I do not recommend everyone to apply it. Because statistics always have errors. For example,Donald Trump is also a billionaire but has had several wives.

- What conditions does your current boyfriend lack to become your husband?
- Actually, we are both open-minded people, not taking the issue of "love means marriage" too seriously. We are lovers, friends, and work partners.my loverI am quite a private person, not interested in showbiz so I don't want to attract too much attention.I noticed many times, the press wanted to take pictures of us but he pushed me aside to take pictures separately. I think keeping everything peaceful as it is now is very good.
Duy Han is not a billionaire, but we both have stable jobs and earn enough money so that no one has to depend on anyone else.As long as one person knows what the other likes, they will voluntarily satisfy it, of course within economic conditions. For example, knowing that he likes the iPhone 7, I just bought one and brought it back to Vietnam for him. Those are actions that show care for each other. I have passed the stage of passionate love where I have to share happiness on my personal page or in the newspaper continuously. But a happy woman can be known just by looking at her eyes.
- She often openly shares her thoughts.stories on your personal page and always receive a lot of attention from the audience. How do you maintain privacy?
- For me, social media is a tool for artists to get closer to the audience, helping artists inspire through sharing personal views, beautiful images... I am quite busy so I don't have time to indulge in, comment on other people's stories, instead I share the positive things I have seen, heard. I myself also stay sober and moderate, when reading a sensitive information, I don't believe it right away but wait a little longer.
Many single or married women have texted me that their thinking has changed a lot after my articles. I do not "incite" anyone to leave their husbands, but I always encourage them to dress nicely and look stylish when going out. Traveling all over the world, I see that no country's women are as good as Vietnamese women. They go to work eight hours a day, and at night they still have to cook hot meals for their husbands and children, then clean, do housework, teach their children... until late at night. Knowing that they really need someone to share with, II always try to reply to comments, question even though it is certain that it is not enough. Those small actions sometimes move the audience.

Female MC actively contributes to helping Vietnamese women change their perceptions. |
-What have you done to share your experiences and thoughts with women?
-In Vietnam, I have been opening basic makeup classes for office ladies to help them feel more confident when entering the office environment. In the near future, I will plan to open more public communication classes for women to practice speaking skills and debate when necessary. We love and please our husbands, but we also have to love ourselves.
I have a friend who recently went to a party with his group but kept telling his wife to come home early to cook dinner, but in fact he stayed out until late. Seeing his wife anxiously asking when she would be home, we spoke up and he kept saying: "You guys leave me alone so I can teach my wife". I don't know how he teaches, but clearly the "husband is king, wife is subject" culture still deeply affects our families, especially in the North. I don't want to compare Eastern and Western cultures. But clearly in America, if a wife cooks, she doesn't have to also clear the dishes and wash the dishes. That's also the reason why I want to spend more time in Vietnam. Looking back, try to count how many times our mothers have traveled here and there in their lives?
- As a professional MC, if you have an accident on stage, what do you do?
- I don't know about other artists, butWhen on stage or even on my personal page, I always give the utmost respect to the audience.I try to interact, talk to them, observe their reactions to know if I should continue the story or not. After decades on stage, I can almost "read" the emotions of the audience.
However, there are situations where I can’t handle it in time. For example, one time, an overseas audience shouted at my co-host and asked him to get off the stage. Standing by, I didn’t know how to defend my colleague, nor could I tell the audience to stop talking like that. People paid for tickets, they have the right to be demanding. In the end, I had to change the subject to calm the atmosphere.
- The wave of overseas singers and artists returning home to perform, be judges... has flourished in recent years. Besides serving the audience, how much do you care about remuneration?
- The salary issue is of course important because it reflects the true value of the artist. My salary is not too high, just "enough to spend", but most customers choose me because I am not picky. When they come to me, they will certainly have special requests and also aim for a reasonable number.
Some reality TV shows, comedy game shows... paid quite a lot to invite me to be a judge. But I refrain from accepting because that is not my expertise. Ky Duyen will never dare to comment on how good or bad other people sing because I have not received formal training in music. However, with cinema, it is different. I have enough passion and confidence to pursue the seventh art, especially after touching the film Nu Dai Gia. In the near future, I will probably participate in another film project.
