MC Lai Van Sam announced that a fake account used his image to advertise a fraudulent eye supplement product, affecting many people.
On his official Facebook page, MC Lai Van Sam expressed his outrage at this impersonation. He said: "These past few days, a Facebook page has appeared impersonating me (with my photo attached) advertising some eye supplement, causing many people to be fooled. Now I have to send everyone this notice."
MC Lai Van Sam emphasized that he only uses one Facebook account. The reason he created this page is because there are too many people impersonating him with bad intentions. He affirmed that he has never participated in advertising for any product or brand.
"There are too many people impersonating me with bad intentions. I have never and will never advertise any product or brand,"he stressed.
MC Lai Van Sam urgently calls on fans and the online community to raise their vigilance and avoid believing in false information and scams on social networks.
Previously, on social networks, many fake fanpages appeared using the name and image of MC Lai Van Sam for many different purposes. Notably, recently a fake Facebook page posted a series of posts advertising a product introduced as an eye recovery medicine.
These articles also used false information, such as claiming that MC Lai Van Sam had advertised this product on VTV or that his mother had improved her eyesight by using this medicine.
Not only that, the fake page also posted a lot of unverified information about the origin, medical certificate and actual use of the product. What is worrying is that under these posts, there were hundreds of accounts commenting expressing interest and desire to buy the product.
This incident is a warning for social media users to carefully verify information before making any purchasing decisions, especially for health-related products.
