The veteran comedian had his first reunion with the two Miss Universe 2015 beauties after the controversial incident.

Recently, Steve Harvey invited Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach and runner-up Ariadna Gutiérrez (who missed out on the crown) as guests on his talk show. These two special episodes, titled Miss Universe: The Truth, aired on January 18th and 19th.

Miss Colombia Ariadna was embarrassed when the host accidentally crowned her during a talk show.

According to the show's producers, Miss Colombia Ariadna shared the difficulties she faced after being mistaken for the winner on the talk show. Ariadna also pondered whether she should forgive host Steve Harvey, who caused the unfortunate mix-up. As for Steve, he couldn't hold back his tears as he apologized to Ariadna. "He was sobbing the whole time," a source told TMZ.

In the teaser clip for the new episode, Steve shared: “The incident kept me awake for many nights. I refused interviews until I could speak again with the two girls most affected by this accident, Pia and Ariadna. Now I finally have the opportunity to speak out.” The 58-year-old comedian also thanked his family for being by his side during the public backlash.
