MC apologizes for offensive remarks about parade
MC Bich Hong apologized after being harshly criticized for her offensive statements about the parade.

On the morning of April 20, MC Bich Hong posted an apology, hoping for forgiveness. She said: "I send my deepest and most sincere apologies to all of you for not being careful with my words and statements on social media.
In just one moment of rashness and impulsiveness, I could not control my negative emotions and knew that it was very wrong. When I got home and calmed down, I read the comments from the audience, I felt ashamed and regretful so I immediately deleted the post. From the bottom of my heart, I sincerely apologize, learn from my experience and hope to receive forgiveness."
She also affirmed that as a daughter of Ho Chi Minh City, she feels happy when the city is increasingly developing and moving towards the 50th anniversary of national reunification.
On the evening of April 19, SCTV4 - where MC Bich Hong works - announced that it had stopped cooperating with editor Bich Hong since April 18. The station also cut all images and clips of this female editor on its channels.
Previously, social media circulated a post shared by an account believed to belong to editor Bich Hong (SCTV4). This female editor complained about the parade causing hours of traffic jams on the evening of April 18.
"Ms. Bich Hong is not an official employee of SCTV, but only a collaborator participating in some programs in the previous period. Ms. Bich Hong's personal statements on social networks are personal opinions, unrelated to and do not represent the opinions of SCTV. SCTV has terminated all cooperation activities, use of images and broadcasting of programs related to Ms. Bich Hong, since April 19," SCTV announced.
MC Bich Hong's article was shared and posted on many forums. The online community expressed outrage, saying that the female editor had negative thoughts, distorted statements, and was not in line with the standards and role of an editor at a television station.
In response, the editor locked all her social media accounts, from Facebook, Instagram to TikTok, Threads. She also quickly deleted the above post.
