Episode 19 of "Mother Sea" continues to depict the emotionally charged upheavals in the fishing village many years after the fateful storm. The episode opens with Hue, a cleaner at a karaoke bar in the city, accidentally finding a wallet while cleaning. Greed overwhelms her, and she decides to hide the wallet in a trash bag to deceive everyone. However, Hue's plan backfires when the owner of the wallet seems to have discovered her actions. Panicked, Hue hastily flees, leaving many unanswered questions about the incident.
Scene shifts: Tư Sáng – now an ambulance driver – unexpectedly encounters Huệ after dropping a patient off at the hospital. Although Huệ doesn't recognize him, Tư Sáng is too busy with work to chase after her and ask for clarification. This fleeting encounter leaves Tư Sáng troubled, but he must put it aside because of his duty.
In the fishing village, life gradually rebuilt itself after the storm. Quan and Lua had grown into mature young adults. In a conversation, they recalled their past losses with a calmer demeanor, though the pain still lingered. Just then, someone ran up to report that Hue had returned to the village and wanted to take Lua with her.
This news created a tense atmosphere. Mrs. Hau – who had always treated Lua like her own daughter – vehemently opposed the idea. She didn't want to lose Lua, the girl she had loved and cared for for so many years. Could Hue convince Mrs. Hau, or would the family conflict only deepen?
