But because I was in the countryside doing farming work, taking care of pigs, chickens, buffaloes and cows, I had to “give way” for Mr. Bay (Cong Phuong’s father) and my sister to go watch live. I have been to the stadium many times to watch live, but Mr. Bay rarely does. Let him go for fun, because later when he gets older and his health gets worse and he can’t go anywhere, it would be a pity.”

However, at home, I never miss a football match with the U22 Vietnam team. Every match, I make a pot of tea and call my neighbors to watch football for fun. Honestly, I don't know much about football, but watching my kids play well is a pleasure. I'm especially happy when I see Phuong score a goal, making me scream until my throat is hoarse. In the last 3 matches, Phuong has scored goals. I don't want to see the type of child who sings and his mother praises him, but scoring goals is good enough.

If you say he played excellently, it's not true, it's all thanks to his teammates. All of Phuong's teammates play well, not just my Phuong. So, if you want to praise him, just praise his teammates like: Toan, Truong, Tuan Anh... If he scored, I think his teammates did more for creating the conditions for him.

Today he called home to tell his mother, I could only encourage him to play his best, listen to the teachers and Coach Huu Thang to develop his full potential to contribute to the team, to contribute to the flag and colors of the Vietnam National Team.
