MediaTek unveils Dimensity 7500: A 4nm mid-range chip with twice the AI performance.
MediaTek has just announced the Dimensity 7500 chipset for the entry-level and mid-range smartphone segment, notable for its superior AI processing capabilities, support for 200MP cameras, and gaming optimization.
MediaTek has officially launched the Dimensity 7500 chipset, a new processing solution manufactured using a cutting-edge 4nm process. This processor focuses on comprehensively upgrading the user experience through artificial intelligence (AI), gaming performance, and professional photography capabilities, while ensuring optimal energy efficiency.

Armv9.3-A CPU architecture and processing performance
The Dimensity 7500 boasts an eight-core CPU architecture based on the latest Armv9.3-A architecture. The system includes four Arm C1-Pro cores clocked at up to 2.6GHz, combined with four Arm C1-Nano cores running at 2.0GHz. This distribution allows the chipset to achieve a balance between powerful processing performance and energy efficiency.
According to MediaTek, the new architecture allows devices to switch between applications faster, increases file transfer speeds, and significantly reduces game loading times. These improvements aim to provide instant responsiveness in users' daily tasks.
A breakthrough in artificial intelligence with the NPU 850.
The most notable feature of the Dimensity 7500 is its NPU 850 AI processor. This chipset is noted for having more than double the AI performance of its predecessor. This capability greatly supports on-device features such as voice recognition, contextual responses, notification summarization, and flexible text-to-speech conversion.

Integrating multiple major language models directly into the hardware enhances privacy because data is processed locally, without relying entirely on cloud computing. This also helps virtual assistants respond more quickly and accurately.
Optimize the graphics and photography experience.
In terms of entertainment capabilities, the Dimensity 7500 is equipped with MediaTek HyperEngine and Adaptive Gaming Technology 4.0. These technologies help maintain stable frame rates and effectively manage temperature during extended gaming sessions. The chipset supports displays with resolutions up to 1,344 x 2,800 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate, delivering smooth visuals.

In the field of photography, the Imagiq 1050 image processor supports camera sensors with resolutions up to 200 megapixels. This system incorporates hardware-based noise reduction capabilities, improving image quality in low-light conditions and increasing detail in high-resolution images.

Connectivity technology and next-generation 5G.
MediaTek equips the Dimensity 7500 with the most advanced connectivity system in its segment, including Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4. The 3GPP Release 17 5G modem allows for a maximum download speed of 5.2Gbps. Notably, the new long-range Bluetooth feature enables direct connections between devices over long distances without needing to go through the cellular network.
