The art program "Commands from the Heart," commemorating the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, will be broadcast on VTV1, honoring soldiers through touching stories.
To commemorate the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 36th anniversary of the National Defense Day, Vietnam Television will broadcast a special art program titled "The Command of the Heart". The program will be televised live at 8:10 PM on December 21, 2025, on VTV1, promising a heroic musical atmosphere and moving stories about the soldiers of Uncle Ho.
The program draws inspiration from commands that are not only spoken but also resonate from the heart of the soldier. These are commands of loyalty, sacrifice, and strength inherited through generations, forming the character of the heroic Vietnam People's Army.

Portrait of a modern-day soldier
With its three-chapter structure, "The Heart's Command" not only recreates the 81-year history of the military but also focuses on portraying the image of today's soldier through realistic glimpses. Viewers will meet the "steel soldiers" who are mastering high technology in the Special Forces, Navy, and cyber warfare units.
The program will tell the story of a young officer continuing the legacy of his father, a Hero of the Armed Forces; of engineering soldiers building pontoon bridges to help people after natural disasters; and of Vietnamese soldiers in United Nations peacekeeping missions, contributing to writing the next chapter of peace globally.
A colorful art space
"Command from the Heart" is a unique blend of classical orchestral music, military choir, and the freshness of contemporary music. The program brings together many renowned artists such as Viet Danh, Soobin Hoang Son, SlimV, Den Vau, and Trang Phap.
Many performances were elaborately staged, including the theme song "Orders from the Heart" performed by Viet Danh and the Army Symphony Orchestra. Audiences also enjoyed the song "Forever Vietnamese" featuring the cast of the "Stars in the Army" program, and "Singing the Military March Forever" in a rock style by singer Do Hoang Hiep. The appearance of rappers with new compositions such as "I Am Extraordinary" and "Rising Above All" will paint a portrait of a young, creative, and ambitious generation of soldiers.

Moments of tranquility
The emotional highlights of the program were the skit "When the Storm Comes" and the documentary "The Journey of Love," which brought poignant moments about the silent sacrifices of the home front, allowing soldiers to confidently carry out their duty to protect the homeland.
"The Command of the Heart" is not just a musical evening, but also a profound tribute to the outstanding sons and daughters of the nation, those who always prioritize the commands of their hearts to maintain peace for the country.
