Tips to reduce back sweating while driving
Hot weather can make driving a nightmare for many people, especially when their backs are drenched in sweat from prolonged contact with leather or fabric seats.

According to Dr. Peter Weller, an expert in automotive interior technology at the University of Michigan (USA), this is not just a matter of comfort but also affects health and personal hygiene.
Here are some tips to help reduce back sweating while driving:
Use ventilated seat covers.:Peter Weller advises that seat cushions with mesh or breathable materials can significantly reduce heat and sweat buildup. A bamboo fiber or 3D mesh seat cushion will create a gap between the back and the seat surface, allowing for better air circulation.
Prioritize seats with cooling functions:Many high-end vehicles now come equipped with seat ventilation or cooling systems. If you live in a hot and humid climate, investing in cooled seats would be a smart and long-term choice.
Wear breathable, light-colored clothing.Cotton or linen fabrics absorb sweat better and are less stuffy. Avoid wearing tight-fitting clothing or synthetic fabrics when driving for long periods in hot weather.
Turn on the air conditioner before getting into the car:Opening the windows and turning on the air conditioner for about 1-2 minutes before getting into the seat will help reduce the temperature inside the cabin. The temperature inside the car can be 10-15 degrees higher than the outside temperature if parked in the sun. Therefore, cooling the car down before getting in is essential.
Apply heat-insulating film and use sun-blocking curtains:High-quality window tinting helps reduce UV rays and heat transfer into the cabin. Additionally, sunshades on the rear window and side windows help reduce the direct heat impacting the driver's back. Sweating while driving is normal, but it's entirely controllable by changing a few small habits. Comfortable driving not only makes you feel better but also enhances safety on long journeys.
