The new generation Mercedes E-Class luxury mid-size sedan is available in the Vietnamese market in two versions: E200 and E300 AMG.

Compared to its predecessor, the exterior of the new E-Class is not significantly different. The German automaker mainly refined some design elements to be smoother, and as a result, the E-Class is closer to its "big brother," the S-Class.

In its 10th generation, the E-Class features a significant increase in the use of aluminum and high-strength steel in its body structure.

The new E-Class (code name W213) has a wheelbase and overall length that are 65 mm and 43 mm longer than its predecessor, respectively.

Based on the Sensual Purity design language, the E-Class interior aims for an open feel thanks to the arrangement of control clusters and the use of premium materials such as leather, wood, and aluminum alloy.

Notably, the E-Class was the world's first car to be equipped with two touch control buttons on the steering wheel, allowing drivers to easily control vehicle features without distraction.

The car is equipped with an automatic climate control system with an integrated high-quality air filter and oxygen ionization function, along with a Burmester® 13-speaker sound system with 590 watts of power.

The new E-Class is the only model in its segment equipped with a navigation system and GPS with an integrated 3D map exclusively designed for Vietnam, along with the ability to access the internet directly in the car.

Mercedes-Benz Vietnam has imported two versions, the E200 and E300 AMG, both using a 2.0-liter I4 engine and a 9-speed 9G-Tronic automatic transmission. However, while the E200 boasts a maximum power of 184 horsepower and a maximum torque of 300 Nm, the E300 AMG version has a maximum power of 245 horsepower and a maximum torque of 370 Nm. The E200 takes 7.7 seconds to reach 100 km/h, while the E300 AMG takes only 6.2 seconds.

The car is equipped with an automatic parking assist system with integrated reverse camera or 360-degree camera, an electric parking brake with intelligent release function, a 9-airbag safety system, and a range of other safety features...

Mercedes-Benz Vietnam has begun distributing the domestically assembled E200 version with a retail price of VND 2.099 billion, and the fully imported E300 AMG version with a retail price of VND 3.049 billion.

A representative from Mercedes-Benz Vietnam stated that they will soon begin assembling the E300 AMG version domestically, resulting in a lower retail price compared to the current model.
