Lionel Messi's brilliant form helped Barca crush Man City 4-0, making Pep Guardiola's return to Camp Nou an emotional one.

Pep Guardiola was the one who made a great contribution to creating the current Barca empire, as well as turning Messi into a "superman" of world football, during the period 2008-2012 when he worked with the Catalan team.

However, since leaving the Nou Camp, Pep has never achieved the glory he had with Barca. Not only that, the times he and his new team returned to their old home were always associated with heavy defeats.

In the 2014-15 season, Pep and Bayern Munich lost 0-3 in the first leg of the Champions League semi-finals. Messi scored twice in that victory, helping Barca advance all the way to the Champions League title and win the treble.

This time, things were even worse for Pep. Messi's class was shown with a hat-trick, along with a situation that brought a penalty that Neymar missed, helping Barca to a big 4-0 victory. The remaining goal was scored by Neymar.

Pep giành được những vinh quang như ông từng có với Barca. Không những vậy, những lần ông cùng đội bóng mới của mình trở về mái nhà cũ đều gắn với những thất bại nặng nề.
Every time Pep and his new team returned to their old home, they were always accompanied by heavy defeats.

Notably, Barca entered the match with Jordi Alba and Gerard Pique both having to leave the field early due to injuries. But Pep was unable to create an attacking game that was varied enough to break the structure of his old team.

Returning twice, not scoring any goals and conceding 7 goals, the feeling of humiliation. Pep was humiliated, and so was Claudio Bravo. The Chilean goalkeeper reunited with his old team with a terrible performance, having to "take an early bath" with a direct red card.
