Microsoft Paint will no longer be on Windows 10
The 30-year-old Paint design and drawing software will not be updated and will be replaced by a new version called Paint 3D.
Microsoft Paint has a special place for those who are attached to computers. Paint can be used as a design and drawing software for all kinds of activities such as creating invitations... However, this 32-year-old software will soon "disappear" from the new generation of computers when Microsoft is about to decide to kill it.
Microsoft has released a list of programs that will be removed in the next update to Windows 10, expected to be released this fall. Paint is described as “obsolete,” meaning it “will no longer be upgraded and may be removed in future updates.”

This doesn’t mean the software will disappear at the end of the year. However, it won’t be upgraded and will be replaced by another photo editing software.
Launched in 1985 alongside the first version of Windows, Paint is a software program that symbolized the era of mass adoption of computers. The software was often “mocked” for its limited features.
Completely free, Paint could never compete with its rivals with more advanced features, among them Adobe Photoshop, the famous software in the art field.
Recently, Microsoft has attracted the attention of users in this field with Surface Studio, a mix of touch tablet and computer, software specializing in video editing, photo editing and 3D processing tricks.
Paint's fate seemed sealed a few months ago with the arrival of Paint 3D, a new version of the design software, which hadn't been updated since 2009, that incorporated some of its photo-editing competitors' features to provide a better user experience.
Paint 3D also has some unique options that make its competitors jealous, in which users can use the software not only with a mouse but also with their hands or a stylus on mobile devices, touch screens.
The software also allows users to turn their designs into 3D models, a feature that could be useful for augmented reality programs. Like its predecessor, Paint 3D is also completely free./
