The two beauties exchanged heated words about what happened backstage at the October 29th show in Hanoi.

Following their fashion show in Hanoi last weekend, Minh Tú and Lan Khuê became two names of public interest due to the "outfit swapping" controversy. Minh Tú's frustrated posts on Facebook inadvertently revealed the unprofessional working methods of the organizers and subtly criticized beauty queen Lan Khuê.

Minh Tú shared: “After fitting and rehearsing, I only found out I had to change outfits right before the show, without any prior notice. Only the woman changing my outfit told me I had to change my performance costume. When I asked why, she said she didn't know, that she was just told to, and that she only helped with the change so she wasn't sure. At that time, I didn't know who I had swapped outfits with until I went on stage to perform.”

Minh Tú shared that throughout her years of performing, she has never done anything wrong or demanded anything unreasonable. The fact that her outfit was changed left her confused and puzzled. She also doesn't want to dwell on the matter because most viewers believe her frustration is unfounded.

According to Minh Tú, she always believed that for each show, regardless of the position or the outfit itself, success was achieved as long as it accurately reflected the designer's vision and made the outfit shine. In large shows with significant investment in both visuals and professionalism, it's rare for outfits to be changed before the show, after fittings have already been completed. Therefore, this change put Minh Tú in a difficult position and inevitably affected her mindset before the show. "Everyone wants to complete their work and wants the show to end successfully. I'm just wondering about the last-minute change and how it affected many other factors, that's all."

Lan Khuê appeared as the vedette of the show. The beauty queen wore an outfit that had been swapped with Minh Tú's before the performance.

Responding to Minh Tú's frustration, Lan Khuê also shared on her personal page: "The outfit was changed by the customer themselves, I didn't ask them to change it. I liked my outfit better, but the catwalk director and the customer requested a change. You can ask them. It's so frustrating."

According to Lan Khuê, she was only following the organizers' instructions and didn't want to dwell on the matter. She felt it was a minor issue, but many people had commented on it. The beauty queen declined to comment on the outfit change, stating that the clearest answer should come from the brand organizing the event.
