Minh Tú and Hồ Ngọc Hà appear on Asia's Next Top Model.

Episode 1 of 'Asia's Next Top Model 2018' aired on the evening of August 22nd. Supermodel Minh Tú took on the role of coach thanks to her runner-up finish from the previous season and her extensive modeling experience.

Besides Minh Tú, Shikin (center) and Monika (right) - two contestants from previous seasons - were also invited back by the organizers to share their experiences and guide the contestants.

In the first episode, the contestants had to catwalk in a market.ChatuchakFamous in Bangkok. From 12 contestants who passed the challenge, the organizers randomly selected 4 contestants to form a team. Minh Tú's team members include: Adela - Philippines, Beauty - Myanmar, Pim - Thailand, and the youngest contestant, Han - Hong Kong.

After recruiting the members, Minh Tú immediately held a meeting to get acquainted and prepare them mentally. During the photoshoot with animals, contestant Han (from Hong Kong - on the right) appeared scared, prompting Minh Tú to talk to her privately to boost her spirits.

At the end of the first episode, Minh Tú's team maintained all four members. Team member Beauty (Myanmar) also won the first award for best photo.

Minh Tú revealed that she received an invitation to return to the show at the end of 2017. Her busy schedule and desire to gain more experience in reality television led her to abandon her plans to participate in Miss Universe Vietnam. However, Minh Tú still expressed her dream of competing in other international beauty pageants in the future.

Also in the season 6 preview video of the show, Ho Ngoc Ha's appearance alongside judge Yu Tsai quickly attracted attention. Many fans speculated that she was taking on the role of guest judge for a challenge.

Vietnam's representative, Rima Thanh Vy, failed to make any significant breakthroughs in the first episode.
