Launching a propaganda campaign to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day
On the morning of June 5, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Provincial Journalists Association to organize a press conference for May 2025. Concluding the conference, the Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department requested press agencies to launch a high-profile and in-depth propaganda campaign for the activities commemorating the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).
The conference was chaired by comrades: Pham Ngoc Canh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Nguyen Ba Hao - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Tran Minh Ngoc - Director of the Provincial Radio and Television Station, Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Journalists Association.
In May 2025, central and local press agencies operating in the province closely followed the principles and purposes, implemented relatively well the propaganda orientation of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department and the state management of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, actively updated information, promptly reflected current events, politics, economics, culture, society, national defense, security, Party building and the political system, met the information needs of readers, did a good job of propaganda and orienting public opinion.
Notably, press agencies highlighted the visit and work in Nghe An by Party and State leaders on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025). Press agencies had many articles and information and propaganda programs highlighting the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday.
In addition, press agencies will inform and update the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly; reflect the contents discussed, commented on and debated at the session.
Press agencies continue to have many articles about the work of reorganizing and streamlining the apparatus in the spirit of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW; continue to inform about the results of building and repairing houses for people with meritorious services and the poor in the province.
In the economic field, press agencies reported on the drastic directions of provincial leaders to ensure the implementation of socio-economic goals; many articles, analyses, and dissemination of important messages and orientations stated in Resolution 68-NQ/TW, dated May 4, 2025 of the Politburo on private economic development.
At the same time, press agencies reported that heavy rain and flash floods caused severe damage in Tuong Duong, Que Phong, and Ky Son districts.
The press agencies promptly inform about the plans and enrollment methods of all levels of education. There are many news, articles and images that clearly reflect the atmosphere of cultural activities, arts, regional festivals; promote the landscapes, tourism potentials, and people of Nghe An; the positive results of the tourism industry; issues raised in the work of preserving heritage, honoring cultural values, contributing to the formation of cultural and tourism products.
In May 2025, press agencies supported and called for support for difficult circumstances in Nghe An province with a total amount of more than 1.5 billion VND.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Pham Ngoc Canh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department acknowledged the opinions reflected by representatives of press agencies at the press conference.
Regarding the propaganda orientation in the coming time, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department requested press agencies to continue to promote information about the Central Government's policy on drastically implementing the work of reorganizing the apparatus of the political system.

In particular, pay attention to promoting news routes and articles reflecting the promotion of potential, advantages, cultural heritages, landscapes, culinary culture, and practical experiences in Nghe An associated with Tourism in 2025 to attract domestic and international tourists to visit.
