Launching a campaign to promote awareness of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press Day.
On the morning of June 5th, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Provincial Journalists Association, organized the May 2025 press briefing. Concluding the meeting, the Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department requested that media agencies launch a high-intensity campaign to prominently and thoroughly publicize activities commemorating the 100th anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).
The conference was chaired by comrades: Pham Ngoc Canh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Nguyen Ba Hao - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; and Tran Minh Ngoc - Director of the Provincial Radio and Television Station, Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Journalists Association.

In May 2025, central and local press agencies operating in the province closely adhered to their principles and objectives, relatively effectively implementing the propaganda orientation of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department and the state management of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. They actively updated information, promptly reflecting current events, politics, economics, culture, society, national defense, security, Party building and the political system, meeting the information needs of readers, and doing a good job of propaganda and guiding public opinion.

Notably, the press extensively covered the visits and working trips to Nghe An by Party and State leaders during the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025). The press published numerous articles and programs highlighting the occasion.

In addition, the press agencies provided information and updates on the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly; reflecting the contents that were discussed, commented on, and debated at the session.
Press agencies continued to publish numerous articles on the restructuring and streamlining of the apparatus in accordance with Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW; and continued to report on the results of building and repairing houses for meritorious people and the poor in the province.

In the economic field, the press reported on the decisive directives of the provincial leaders to ensure the achievement of the set socio-economic goals; many articles and analyses disseminated important messages and orientations outlined in Resolution 68-NQ/TW, dated May 4, 2025, of the Politburo on the development of the private economy.
At the same time, the press reported on the heavy rains and flash floods that caused severe damage in Tuong Duong, Que Phong, and Ky Son districts.

The press promptly reported on enrollment plans and strategies for all levels of education. Numerous news articles and images vividly reflected the atmosphere of cultural and artistic activities and festivals in the region; promoted scenic spots, tourism potential, and the people of Nghe An province; highlighted positive achievements in the tourism industry; and addressed issues in heritage preservation and the honoring of cultural values, contributing to the development of cultural and tourism products.
In May 2025, media outlets supported and appealed for donations to help disadvantaged people in Nghe An province, raising a total of over 1.5 billion VND.
At the conference, representatives from several media outlets reported on the handling of information related to the assault on medical staff; the organization of activities commemorating the 100th anniversary of Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism, etc.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Pham Ngoc Canh, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, acknowledged the opinions reflected by representatives of the press agencies at the press briefing.
Regarding future propaganda orientation, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department requests that media agencies continue to promote information about the Central and provincial policies on the resolute implementation of the reorganization of the political system's organizational structure.

Promote the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024, of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation, and digital transformation, especially the tasks to be completed in the second quarter of 2025; and Resolution No. 59 of the Politburo on proactive and extensive international integration.
The implementation of the contents of Directive No. 45-CT/TW, dated April 14, 2025, of the Politburo on Party congresses at all levels leading up to the 14th National Congress of the Party; Directive No. 43-CT/TW, dated April 10, 2025, of the Politburo on strengthening the Party's leadership over the institutionalization of the Party's guidelines and policies on preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negative phenomena into State laws; Resolution No. 68 on the strong development of the private economic sector and Resolution No. 66 on comprehensively reforming the work of drafting and enforcing laws…

Press agencies continue to strengthen information and propaganda efforts, deeply disseminating the content and results of the implementation of the Action Program for the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress and the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress; and intensify propaganda on Party building and rectification, and the construction of the political system in 2025. At the same time, they continue to promote movements, models, and exemplary cases of "Studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh."
We request that media agencies actively publicize fire and explosion prevention; drowning prevention; drug prevention; activities to combat and suppress crime and social evils; traffic safety; and the prevention of smuggling, commercial fraud, counterfeit goods, and imitation products in the province. In particular, attention should be paid to promoting news articles and reports that highlight the potential, advantages, cultural heritage, scenic spots, culinary culture, and practical experiences in Nghe An, linked to tourism in 2025, to attract domestic and international tourists.
