Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Singing Festival for Public Officials, Employees, and Workers
On the morning of August 12th, the 2024 Singing Festival for Civil Servants, Public Employees, and Workers was held at Cluster No. 2.
This is a practical activity to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd. At the same time, the program aims to maintain and promote the mass cultural and artistic movement, and enhance the cultural and spiritual life of the people.workers.
Attending the event were representatives from the Department of Culture and Sports, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, and the Chairman of the People's Council of Do Luong District. Representing the Provincial Federation of Labor were Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Nhi - Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor; and Mr. Thai Minh Sy - Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor.
Cluster 2 included the participation of 7 district-level Labor Federations with over 250 performers and nearly 30 outstanding performances. The district-level Labor Federations in Cluster 2 selected talented civil servants, public employees, and workers in their areas to form the core group for training and program development.
The participating units made good use of regional materials, staged elaborate performances, and used beautiful costumes. The works covered a wide range of themes praising the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, the homeland, the country, and the trade union organization, creating a colorful, impressive, and attractive cultural program of high artistic quality. Many works were unique and innovative, using folk songs and dances deeply rooted in the traditions of the ethnic minorities in the highlands.
As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize toLabor UnionIn Do Luong district, the Second Prize was awarded to the Con Cuong and Anh Son Labor Federations; the Third Prize was awarded to the Tan Ky and Ky Son District Labor Federations. The organizing committee also awarded prizes to the 10 best performances from cluster 2.
The Singing Festival for Civil Servants, Public Employees, and Workers in Cluster No. 2 was a great success, leaving many profound impressions and attracting enthusiastic participation and support from union members and workers.
