Moc Chau: Check in at the vibrant 4,000 m2 hill of everlasting flowers.
Besides peach and plum blossoms, visitors to Moc Chau this spring can enjoy a new experience at the 4,000 m2 hill of everlasting flowers, bursting with vibrant colors in the heart of the plateau.
Moc Chau has recently seen the emergence of a 4,000 m2 hill of everlasting flowers, becoming a new and attractive stop alongside the familiar tea hills and plum orchards. Located about 7 km from the center of Moc Chau town, this location is conveniently situated for tourists visiting the Chieng Di market or traveling back to Hanoi from Moc Chau.

A vibrant landscape amidst the Moc Chau plateau.
The flower hill was planted on a large scale by a private company. Surrounding the area is the lush green space of tea hills, interspersed with many characteristic flowers of the highlands such as plum blossoms and peach blossoms, creating a colorful natural landscape.

According to the management unit, the flower hill opened to visitors on February 22nd (the 6th day of the Lunar New Year). The current entrance fee is 50,000 VND per person. With its large area and well-arranged flower beds, visitors can easily find ideal photo spots without worrying too much about overcrowding.

Characteristics of the "everlasting" flower
Immortelle, also known as everlasting daisy, is a herbaceous plant belonging to the daisy family. This flower originates from Oceania and particularly thrives in cool climates. In Vietnam, everlasting daisies are famous in Da Lat and have recently begun to be cultivated in Sa Pa and Moc Chau due to similar climatic conditions.

As the name suggests, the everlasting flower has the ability to retain its shape and color even when dried. The flowers typically come in striking shades such as yellow, red, orange, pink, purple, and white. Locals often pick the flowers to preserve them or give them as souvenirs due to this unique durability.

Travel experience and ideal time to visit
For the best photos, visitors should visit the flower hill during two golden hours: from 8-10 am or from 3-5 pm when the gentle sunlight bathes the field. Currently, the flower garden is in the early stages of blooming and is expected to maintain its beauty until the end of April.

After the peak of the Lunar New Year holiday, the number of tourists flocking to Moc Chau has started to decrease. This is the ideal time for tourists to plan their visit, as accommodation services such as hotels and homestays are no longer overloaded, making the experience of exploring the plateau more complete and relaxing.
