How to cook chicken soup with Chinese herbs
Prepare chicken: Wash, blanch for 2 minutes in boiling water to remove odor, remove and drain.
Prepare Chinese medicine: Soak the herbs in warm water for 5 minutes, rinse.
Cook soup: Put chicken broth in pot with ginger, Chinese herbs, chicken, salt and rock sugar. Boil, skim off foam.

- 20g crushed ginger
- 20g lightly grilled shallots
- 50g onion cut into wedges
- 20g green onion root
- 50g chopped carrots
- 2g salt

Blanch chicken bones for 3–5 minutes, rinse.
Put all ingredients and water in pot.
Bring to a boil, skim off foam, reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours.
