This ice cream is so addictive.
For those who are always torn between a glass of wine or a scoop of ice cream, Winecream, a drink originating in the US, satisfies both criteria.
Created by Crossroads, a family-owned company in Baltimore, USA, this ice cream can satisfy even the most discerning and demanding palates. Winecream is a blend of fruit liqueur and premium ice cream, made with carefully selected ingredients. Customers can choose their favorite liqueur flavor, such as pineapple, peach, strawberry, or blueberry, then mix it with fresh cream and freeze it using liquid nitrogen – a certified food-safe additive.

This enticing dessert was first unveiled in 2014 at wine festivals and private events. However, the Gorham family decided to bring it to the public by selling it at wine shops in Baltimore and Washington D.C. later this summer.
Winecream was born on a Christmas evening three years ago, when the Gorham family couldn't decide whether to drink more wine or switch to ice cream. “We wanted ice cream, but we couldn’t stop drinking,” said Dan Gorham. So they decided to combine the two, creating a refreshing dessert that also provided a hint of intoxication. Dan, an engineer, and his sister, Katie, a public health communications specialist at Johns Hopkins, spent a year researching the Winecream recipe before selling it at various events.

According to the Baltimore Sun, the results were truly encouraging, with the ice cream quickly winning over the public. People checked the schedules and timetables of wine festivals in the hope of enjoying this delicious and unique treat.
And in case you think ice cream doesn't cause intoxication, you're wrong. Each cup of ice cream contains 10% alcohol, equivalent to the volume of a regular glass of wine and double the amount in other alcoholic ice creams. While delicious, diners are advised not to eat too much because this ice cream will actually make you drunk.
