Which subject in the 2025 high school graduation exam had the most perfect scores (10/10)?
The Ministry of Education and Training announced the score distribution for the 2025 high school graduation exam on the afternoon of July 15th. More than 15,300 exam papers received a perfect score of 10. This number increased by over 4,400 papers compared to last year.
Geography leads in the number of perfect scores (10/10).
In particular, Geography had over 6,900 perfect scores (10 points), accounting for nearly half of the total number of perfect scores. This is an impressive figure, showing a significant improvement in the exam results of candidates in this subject.
Notably, the number of perfect scores (10 points) in Physics increased sharply, from 55 papers last year to nearly 3,930 this year. Meanwhile, there were no perfect scores in Literature.
In 2024, Math was the only subject without a perfect score of 10, indicating a positive shift in exam results across subjects this year.
The high school graduation exam took place on June 26-27 with over 1.16 million candidates participating. Of these, nearly 1.14 million candidates took the exam under the new general education program (2018) and over 26,700 candidates took it under the old program (2006).
Candidates under the new program take two compulsory subjects: Literature and Mathematics, along with two elective subjects from Chemistry, Physics, Biology, History, Geography, Economics and Law Education, Informatics, Agricultural Technology, Industrial Technology, and Foreign Languages (7 languages).
