The third exam for grade 10 in 2025 in Hai Phong
Hai Phong Department of Education and Training announced the third subject in the 10th grade entrance exam, school year 2025-2026.
Recently, the Department of Education and Training of Hai Phong announced the selectionForeign languages, including English, French, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Chineseis the third subject in the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year.
Accordingly, Foreign Language will be the third subject of this exam, in addition to the two compulsory subjects of Math and Literature.

List of exam subjects and exam format
This is the first exam to implement the regulation of the Ministry of Education and Training on adding a third subject to the 10th grade entrance exam. The selection of the third subject is decided by the Department of Education and Training of provinces and cities.
Thus, the entrance exam for grade 10 of high school (mass) in the 2025-2026 school year in Hai Phong will have 3 subjects: Math, Literature and Foreign Language (English, French, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese)
Regarding the exam format, according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training:
Literature: Essay test format, test duration 120 minutes;
Math 90 minutes or 120 minutes;
Foreign Language: Multiple choice test, test duration 60 minutes.
The test is 90 or 120 minutes long.
The 2025-2026 school year entrance exam for grade 10 is the first year the exam is held according to the new general education program. This is also the first year of applying the new regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training in admission to grade 10 with two compulsory subjects: Math and Literature, a third subject prescribed by the Departments of Education and Training, chosen from the remaining subjects or a combination exam.
According to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, the deadline for departments of education and training to announce the third exam subject is March 31.
