Moscow does not accept American mercenaries attacking Russia.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov noted that Moscow does not accept the participation of American mercenaries in attacks against Russia, and that this is being done on a regular basis.
According to TASS on September 2nd, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov stated that Russia has, in various ways, shown the United States that the participation of American mercenaries in attacks on Russian territory is unacceptable.
Deputy Minister Ryabkov stated: "This is being done continuously and through various channels, and at all levels where such mercenary contacts are conducted."
Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry official Maria Zakharova noted at a press briefing that foreign mercenaries were actively participating in the attack on the Kursk region. The diplomat added, “American mercenaries have clearly posted on the internet a photograph of the position of a Ukrainian Armed Forces mortar team next to a children’s playground in the Kursk region.”
A major offensive by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Kursk region began on August 6th. A federal state of emergency is in effect in the region, and a missile threat has been declared on several occasions. Residents of the border area have been evacuated to safety. According to the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, there are 197 temporary shelters in 28 regions across the country. More than 11,500 people are staying there, including over 3,500 children.
