With the awareness that business development is thanks to society, Nghe An Sugarcane Company pays great attention to participating in social activities (charity, humanitarian). Every year, the company organizes community support programs such as building "Great Unity" houses, "Education Promotion Fund" and "Tet for the poor" with an amount of more than 1 billion VND per year.
In particular, contributing to taking care of the future of the future "owners" of the sugarcane land, over the past 16 years (from 2001 to present), every year the company has implemented many specific educational support programs with clear effects. Previously, schools in the raw material area only used black painted cement boards, which were difficult to see and quickly damaged. The company has provided 250 anti-glare magnetic boards. Accompanying the children entering grade 1 every year, the company has provided each child in the raw material sugarcane area with a school bag and full school supplies. Over the past 16 years, a total of 25,726 children have received new school bags with a total value of 2.8 billion VND.
The significance and effectiveness of the program is so great that despite the ups and downs, through the generations of general directors, they have been very dedicated to implementing it. Mr. Tony Maple - General Director of the company discussed: "For the children, the company is always ready to help in every stage of their learning journey. Because changing the face of this land starts from their school days from today. That is also our wish".
For 3 years (2011-2013), the company has organized a scholarship program for poor students with an amount of 200 million VND per year. In 2006, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of its establishment, the company spent 32,000 USD to provide scholarships for poor students in the sugarcane area with an amount of 5 million VND per year/student and lasting throughout their university years.
Thanks to receiving this scholarship, many students have grown up and become independent in life. For example, Phan Van Hoa, from Chau Dinh (Quy Hop), whose family was so poor that it seemed impossible to pursue his dream of studying. Thanks to the meaningful scholarship program, Hoa graduated from the Faculty of Agronomy (Vinh University). Now, Hoa is the Vice Chairman of Bao Thang Commune (Ky Son), trusted by the people. We can also mention many other young people who have confidently stepped into a long and wide life thanks to the initial support of the company, such as Nguyen Thi Yen, from Nghia Duc (Nghia Dan), graduated from Agricultural University 1, now working at the Clean Vegetable Company of TH Group; Hoang Thi Trung, working at the People's Committee of Quy Chau District...

For the past 16 years (since 2001), the company has supported road repairs for localities in raw material areas, averaging 1 billion VND per year (reaching 15.7 billion VND). Since 2015, the company has invested in buying machines to level roads for free for the people, supporting 500 million VND per year for 4 years (2002 - 2006) to pour asphalt on Provincial Road 598. In addition, on Tet holidays, the company also gives gifts to the poor.
