A resident lost 65 million VND from their safe.

(Baonghean.vn) - Upon returning home, Ms. Tam was shocked to find that 65 million VND she had kept in the cupboard had disappeared.

On the afternoon of September 29th, Ms. Le Thi Tam (residing in Dai Hai village, Quynh Long commune, Quynh Luu district) reported to the Quynh Long commune police that her family had just lost 65 million VND kept in a cupboard.

Ms. Le Thi Lien is working with the Quynh Long Police Department regarding the money she lent to Ms. Tam.

Accordingly, on the afternoon of September 28th, Ms. Le Thi Lien, Ms. Tam's younger sister, lent Ms. Tam 80 million VND. Ms. Tam then returned 15 million VND to her sister, keeping the remaining 65 million VND in a cupboard. After picking up her child from school, Ms. Tam checked the cupboard and discovered that the 65 million VND had disappeared.

Reportedly, the money was borrowed by Ms. Tam's family to jointly invest in building the boat. The case is currently being investigated by the Quỳnh Long commune police in coordination with the Quỳnh Lưu district police.
