A woman in Nghe An was struck to death by lightning in a rice field.
(Baonghean.vn) - While working in the rice field, Ms. Ha, residing in Thanh Chuong district, was suddenly struck and killed by lightning.
On the evening of May 17, Thanh Dong Commune Police (Thanh Chuong District) informed that a woman had just been struck to death by lightning in the commune. The victim was Ms. Tran Thi Ha (born in 1976, residing in Thanh Dong Commune).

Earlier, in the late afternoon of May 17, the sky was sunny when clouds gathered over the fields of Thanh Dong commune. After a loud explosion accompanied by thunder and lightning, people discovered Ms. Ha had fallen into the field.
People working in the fields nearby ran to try to save Ms. Ha but she did not survive.
It is known that Ms. Ha's family is in difficult circumstances, and she and her husband have just adopted a baby.
