A woman in Nghe An was killed by lightning in a rice field.
(Baonghean.vn) - While working in the rice field, Ms. Ha, residing in Thanh Chuong district, was suddenly struck and killed by lightning.
On the evening of May 17th, the Thanh Dong commune police (Thanh Chuong district) reported that a woman had been killed by lightning in the commune. The victim was Ms. Tran Thi Ha (born in 1976, residing in Thanh Dong commune).

Earlier, in the late afternoon of May 17th, the sun was shining when clouds gathered over the fields of Thanh Dong commune. After a loud explosion accompanied by thunder and lightning, people discovered Ms. Ha had fallen into the field.
People working in the nearby fields rushed to try and save Ms. Ha, but she did not survive.
It is known that Ms. Ha's family is in difficult circumstances, and she and her husband have recently adopted a baby.
