A department with 44 leaders in Hai Duong: 8 deputy heads of department asked to withdraw
Minister of Home Affairs Le Vinh Tan said that after the inspection, one comrade asked to be transferred back to his old unit, and seven comrades asked not to accept the position of deputy head of department.
The issue of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Hai Duong (LD-TB&XH) having 46 civil servants, of which 44 are department-level leaders, was raised during the question-and-answer session of Minister of Home Affairs Le Vinh Tan at the hall on the afternoon of November 16.

Following the Government's direction, the Ministry of Home Affairs has conducted a State inspection of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Hai Duong province. The Minister also said that the People's Committee of Hai Duong province has not yet had regulations on how many deputy heads of departments there are.
For the structure of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Hai Duong, there are 9 departments, of which 4 are leaders, plus 27 more, so there are 8 extra deputy heads.
"After working for Hai Duong province, one comrade asked to be transferred back to his old unit, the remaining 7 comrades asked to withdraw from their duties as deputy heads of departments," the Minister of Home Affairs presented the matter to the National Assembly.
The Ministry of Home Affairs has recommended to the People's Committee of Hai Duong province to direct the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Hai Duong to strictly implement regulations on standards and titles of department-level officials. When promoting, it must be in accordance with the conditions and procedures.
At the same time, strict sanctions will also be imposed on those who do staff work and propose promotions in excess of the prescribed number of people, causing public outrage in recent times.
Previously, in mid-October 2016, the press reported on the widespread recruitment, promotion, and appointment of officials and civil servants at the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Hai Duong province.
