Mr. To Duy Hien, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quynh Nghia commune, Quynh Luu district, has just informed that an incident has occurred in the commune.fishing boat on fireIt is known that the burning fishing vessel, numbered NA92222TS, with a power of 320CV, belongs to fisherman Ho Su Du, born in 1980, residing in Hamlet 1, Quynh Nghia Commune. The vessel had been anchored for several days before suddenly catching fire on August 8th while anchored near the shore. The estimated value of the property is approximately 2 billion VND.
Upon receiving the report, local authorities mobilized forces along with fishermen's boats to quickly reach the scene and participate in the rescue effort. However, due to bad weather, with thunder, lightning, and strong winds, the fire quickly engulfed the entire ship in a short time.
Authorities are currently working with local government to investigate the cause of the fire.
