A young man from Nghe An province was stabbed to death in Laos.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of June 30th, Mr. Nguyen Hai Dong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Son commune (Tan Ky district), said that the local authorities and the family had received information that Mr. Le Van Cong (born in 1996, from Phu Son commune) had died in Laos.
According to information received from a worker from Nghe An province working in Laos, Mr. Cong was working in Udomxay province (Laos) and was stabbed with an iron rod by another person on June 28, 2018, resulting in his death.

Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Hai Dong, Chairman of the Phu Son Commune People's Committee, said: "Currently, the authorities and the family have only received information about Mr. Cong's death, but have not yet confirmed the cause of death. Mr. Cong was the son of Mr. Le Van Duc (in Nam Son hamlet, Phu Son commune), and was unmarried. Mr. Duc's family has sent someone to Laos to complete the necessary procedures to bring Mr. Cong's body back to his hometown for burial according to local customs."
Currently, the Vietnamese community in Laos is calling on everyone to join hands in donating and helping the family to have the funds to bring Mr. Cong's body back to his hometown.
