Mourinho faces a touchline ban for criticizing the referee.
The Manchester United manager may be sidelined for a few games due to his criticism of referee Anthony Taylor.
Jose Mourinho had previously made unfavorable comments about referee Taylor before the Liverpool - Man Utd match on October 17th. At the time, the manager suggested that Taylor would find it difficult to officiate the game with the highest level of accuracy because he came from the northwest of the United Kingdom, where the city of Liverpool is located.

After the match ended in a 0-0 draw, Mourinho changed his tune, even praising the referee. However, this action could not save the "Special One" from scrutiny by the English Football Association.
"Jose Mourinho has been accused of misconduct for his comments about the referee before the Liverpool - Man Utd match. Those comments were untrue and could have negatively impacted the game. Mourinho has until 6 pm on October 31, 2016 to respond to these allegations," the League's statement on October 27 read.
If found guilty, Mourinho could face a touchline ban from managing several Manchester United matches. This is a significant problem, especially as the Red Devils are in need of improving their form.
