Mourinho sees Conte's celebration as an insult

Man Utd coach said his colleague on the other side of the front line had provocative actions on the sidelines.

Four goals from Pedro, Gary Cahill, Eden Hazard and N'Golo Kante brought Chelsea a resounding 4-0 victory over Man Utd in round nine of the English Premier League.

After Kante's goal, Conte ran back and forth to the tunnel entrance to celebrate. Even though they greeted each other with a hug after the match, Mourinho still showed his dissatisfaction with his colleague.

"Don't celebrate like that when you win 4-0. 1-0 is fine but 4-0 and doing that is insulting to the opponent," he said.

Mourinho’s return to Stamford Bridge was a disaster as Man Utd conceded consecutive goals. Many Chelsea fans brought banners with Mourinho’s image onto the pitch and paid their respects to him. However, the 55-year-old strategist was in no mood to feel the love from his former team’s fans.

When asked whether he directly expressed his dissatisfaction with the Italian coach's celebration while greeting Conte after the match, Mourinho refused to answer.
