MU wants to loan Kolo Muani to upgrade their attack.
Due to a limited transfer budget, Manchester United are considering signing Randal Kolo Muani from PSG on loan next January to strengthen their attacking options.

Since the start of the 2024/25 season, Manchester United have struggled to maintain consistent form in the striker position. Despite changes to the squad by manager Ruben Amorim, the attack has yet to meet expectations. Due to limited transfer budgets in the winter transfer window, MU are considering a loan move for Kolo Muani, the French striker currently struggling at PSG.
Kolo Muani joined PSG in the summer of 2023 for a transfer fee of €95 million (£79.3 million) from Eintracht Frankfurt, but has yet to make a significant impact in Ligue 1. Under manager Luis Enrique, the 25-year-old doesn't seem to be considered a key part of the Parisian club's long-term plans. This makes loaning out Kolo Muani a viable option.
Despite limited playing opportunities at PSG, Kolo Muani remains optimistic and hasn't given up hope. In an interview about the possibility of leaving the club, he shared: "I have to keep working to earn the coach's trust. I always work hard, but things have never been easy for me."
Kolo Muani has still been called up to the French national team for the Nations League matches in November, and is expected to return to PSG to prepare for the match against Toulouse on November 22nd.
If Manchester United succeed in loaning Kolo Muani, it would be an effective temporary solution, adding competition and increasing attacking options for the remainder of the season.
