The Manchester team is willing to spend 40 million pounds to bring in the 17-year-old talent who is making a strong impression on the left wing of Fulham - Ryan Sessegnon.

Playing the role of left-back this season, the young Englishman has scored 14 goals. Sessegnon's high form has attracted the attention of a series of Premier League teams, including Tottenham, Arsenal and Crystal Palace.

Sessegnon is growing up in Fulham's shirt.

Jose Mourinho is also particularly interested in this 17-year-old defender, and believes he can become a big star in the future like Gareth Bale.

Many times, the Red Devils' scouts were sent to Craven Cottage to "watch" Sessegnon and report his performance and playing statistics to MU headquarters.

According to the British media, Sessegnon is the perfect solution to replace Luke Shaw on the left wing. The former Southampton defender recently had a conflict with Mourinho on the training ground, so he almost lost his chance to stay at Old Trafford.

Shaw no longer has a place at Old Trafford.

Initially, MU intended to consider recruiting Danny Rose. However, the Tottenham player's form has declined since returning from injury, so Mourinho and his colleagues turned to Ryan Sessegnon.

A source from Old Trafford said: "MU always closely follows Sessegnon's form and the reports sent back by scouts are very impressive.

He has been compared to Gareth Bale at the same age. Sessegnon has all the qualities to become a star, with his speed, great physical foundation and ability to occupy space to score goals. Mourinho really enjoys talking about this 17-year-old."
