(Baonghean.vn) - A heavy rainstorm accompanied by hail recently occurred in Muong Xen town and some neighboring communes of Ky Son district (Nghe An province), causing many people to be afraid to go out.

The hailstorm caused fear among many residents, who were afraid to leave their homes. Vehicles such as motorbikes, bicycles, and even cars were also avoided for fear that hailstones, some up to 3 cm in diameter, would shatter their windows.
Earlier, a hailstorm accompanied by tornadoes struck the districts of Ky Son and Tuong Duong, lasting from the afternoon of April 9th to the early morning of April 10th. As a result, many people were injured and dozens of houses had their roofs blown off.
