Heavy rain and strong winds caused trees to fall in Con Cuong, injuring one person.
At approximately 4:40 PM on September 19th, due to the influence of typhoon number 4, Con Cuong district experienced strong winds and heavy rain.
As a result, at Eo Vuc Bong on Highway 7, in Bong Khe commune, Con Cuong district, the rain and wind caused trees and rocks on the slope to fall onto the road while many people were traveling, injuring one motorcyclist.

There were two people in the car, a father and son, the victim, and the car, which were trapped under a tree branch. The car was severely damaged, but fortunately, the two victims sustained only minor injuries.

Immediately after the incident occurred, residents contacted the authorities and local government to plan a rescue operation, and they also quickly tried to rescue the person trapped by the fallen tree.

The leaders of Con Cuong district were present at the scene to direct the remediation efforts. The district mobilized excavators, tractor-trailers, and police and military forces to resolve the incident and reopen the road.
