Heavy rains have caused landslides in many areas of Nghe An province.
Heavy rains on September 22nd and 23rd caused landslides on Route 543D in Ky Son and several other roads in Que Phong.
Due to the influence of Typhoon No. 4, in recent days, the 543D road in Muong Ai and Muong Tip communes, Ky Son district, has been affected by landslides, making it impassable for vehicles. To promptly address the issue, the Muong Ai Border Guard Post mobilized forces in coordination with the local authorities of the two communes to educate residents about the dangers of traveling on the affected road and erected warning signs at hazardous locations. As soon as the rain subsided, the unit and local authorities temporarily repaired the road to allow motorbike traffic.
Heavy rains have also caused landslides, blocking traffic on the road from Dong Van commune to Thong Thu commune in Que Phong district. Currently, the Nghe An Border Guard force is coordinating with local authorities to put up warning signs and prevent people from passing through.
