(Baonghean.vn)- On September 8, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced a large-scale military aid package worth more than 2 billion USD for Ukraine and other European countries due to concerns about the threat from Russia.
According to Secretary of State Blinken, the Biden administration will provide $2 billion in long-term military aid to Ukraine and 18 neighboring countries, including NATO members and regional security partners, which are "most at risk from future Russian aggression."

The aid package is part of the Foreign Military Financing (FMF) program, in addition to the $675 million direct aid package for Ukraine announced by US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin earlier the same day.
Thus, the US has provided a total of 15.2 billion USD in aid to Ukraine since the Biden administration took office. US officials said these new commitments demonstrate Washington's steadfast support for Kiev./.
