The incident happened last month but was only recently revealed by Sputnik. According to the Russian newspaper, the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the North American Aerospace Command (NORAD) as well as many witnesses have confirmed the appearance of the mysterious plane.
This ghost plane has no signal receiving and transmitting system as well as no radio. Therefore, it will be very difficult for the US Air Force fighter jets to track the mysterious plane. A series of rumors appeared related to this ghost plane.
A self-proclaimed witness said the mysterious plane belonged to drug traffickers heading to Canada. However, if that was the case, the pilot would have had to be extremely skilled or extremely lucky to have escaped the pursuit of the American F-15.
Much remains unclear, such as how much time passed between when the FAA and NORAD detected the mysterious aircraft and when the F-15s scrambled.
Another person who identified himself as an air traffic controller working at a control center where the F-15 fighter jet took off said the US Air Force asked them not to talk to the press about the incident.
Another theory is that the US Air Force is testing a top-secret aircraft in the Space Operations System (NAS). But the US Air Force does not usually conduct such tests in public during the day, to avoid being seen.
Alternatively, the US Air Force could test the aircraft in Alaska, which is remote, has harsh conditions, and is obviously more suitable.
