The incident occurred last month but was only recently revealed by Sputnik. According to the Russian news agency, the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the North American Aerospace Command (NORAD), as well as numerous witnesses, have confirmed the appearance of the mysterious aircraft.

This phantom aircraft has no signal receiving or transmitting system, nor a radio. Therefore, it would be very difficult for US Air Force fighter jets to track the mysterious plane. A series of rumors have surfaced regarding this phantom aircraft.

One person claiming to be a witness said the mysterious plane belonged to drug traffickers en route to Canada. However, if that were the case, the pilot would have had to be extremely skilled or incredibly lucky to escape the pursuit of the American F-15.

Much information remains unclear, such as how much time elapsed between the FAA and NORAD detecting the mysterious aircraft and when the F-15 scrambled.

Another person, who identified himself as an air traffic controller working at a control center where the F-15 fighter jet took off, said the US Air Force instructed them not to speak to the press about the incident.

Another theory is that the US Air Force is testing a top-secret aircraft within its Navigation Aircraft System (NAS). However, the US Air Force typically doesn't conduct such public tests during the day, to avoid being seen.

In addition, the US Air Force could test the aircraft in Alaska, a remote location with harsh conditions that would clearly be more suitable.
