US fears Israel will attack Iran's nuclear facilities
US media said that the US government is very concerned about Israel attacking Iran's nuclear facilities.

According to RIA Novosti on June 12, the Washington Post reported that the US is concerned about a possible Israeli attack on Iran's nuclear facilities.
"In recent months, US intelligence officials have grown increasingly concerned that Israel could attack Iran's nuclear facilities without US consent," the Washington Post reported.
According to the publication, the US is taking steps to strengthen security measures and prepare for emergencies.
"The United States is on high alert for the possibility of an Israeli attack on Iran," the Washington Post added, noting that such a move by Israel could undermine negotiations between Washington and Tehran over Iran's nuclear program.
Meanwhile, CBS News quoted a source from a US official saying that Israel is completely ready to begin military operations in Iran.
Iran and the United States, along with Oman as a mediator, have held five rounds of indirect talks on Iran's nuclear dossier. The most recent round took place in Rome on May 23. After the talks, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced mechanisms proposed by Oman that could help remove obstacles to progress. The Iranian foreign minister said such progress could be achieved in one or two rounds. However, the main obstacle is Iran's ability to enrich uranium.
In the talks, the US is seeking assurances that Iran does not have the ability to build nuclear weapons. Tehran has denied any such plans and Iran is seeking the lifting of US sanctions.
