US explains why Ukraine suffered heavy losses in counterattack

At a forum in Aspen, US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are suffering heavy losses in the counterattack. Accordingly, the number of fighter planes damaged and destroyed in this counterattack is very large.

However, Russia has warned that it could use cluster bombs in Ukraine in response. "Russia has operational stocks of cluster bombs and munitions. They are much more effective than American cluster bombs and munitions," Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said.
