(Baonghean.vn) - US President Joe Biden is ready to "hand over" Ukraine to Russia to stop Moscow from getting closer to China. This is the assessment of political analyst Alexander Lazarev, broadcast on Ukraine's NASH TV channel.

In his opinion, the Americans no longer need to go to Kyiv because there has been a shift in foreign policy. This expert asserts that while Washington previously used the strategy of (Cold War strategist) Zbigniew Brzezinski to contain Russia as a continental power, the White House is now focusing on the fight against China.
Expert Lazarev said: "Since 2018, when the US failed to achieve this goal, they also realized that China was the main threat. Ukraine simply became a non-priority target in US foreign policy, but still profitable for companies operating there." The political researcher explained that this is why Kyiv is now trying to seek protection from the United Kingdom.
Ukrainian expert concludes: "The Americans are making concessions to the Russian Federation to prevent it from aligning with China. They are ready to 'hand over' Ukraine and want to abandon it. President Biden has repeatedly stated, 'We will never fight for you.' At that point, it will be a war between NATO and Russian forces, and it will be a nuclear war."
