US to impose 500% tax on Russia's partners
US Senator Lindsey Graham said the US will impose a 500% tax on countries that buy goods from Russia and do not help Ukraine.

According to TASS, US Senator Lindsey Graham (a Republican from South Carolina) said that the US will impose a 500% tariff on countries that are Russia's trading partners and those that do not support Ukraine.
"If you buy goods from Russia and don't help Ukraine, a 500% tariff will be applied to your deliveries to the United States. India and China buy 70% of Russian oil. This bill will allow US President Donald Trump to impose tariffs on China, India and other countries," Senator Graham said in an interview with ABC News on June 29.
According to Mr. Graham, President Trump also believes that Congress needs to pass a bill on new restrictions on Russia.
"Yesterday, when we played golf with the president, he told me for the first time that it was time to move forward with this bill," the senator told ABC News. Graham hopes the Senate will consider the bill on sanctions against Russia next July.
The bill in question was introduced in early April by a bipartisan group of Senate members. The main authors of the document are Senator Graham and Richard Blumenthal (a Democrat from Connecticut). The initiative includes secondary sanctions against Russia's trading partners. The senators' proposal specifies import duties in the amount of 500% on imports to the United States from countries that buy oil, gas, uranium and other goods from Russia.
