My Tam shared that she had only met Trong Tan a few times and had never sung a duet with him. "Once, I was searching for songs online and accidentally clicked on a song by Trong Tan. At that moment, I thought, 'Maybe I should invite him; it would be very interesting.' So I discussed it with director Nguyen Quang Dung, and when I extended the invitation, Trong Tan accepted," she said. Besides the two guest performers with contrasting styles, an interesting highlight of the program was the musical theater segment. Old and new songs were connected under the direction of director Nguyen Quang Dung.

The "Green Window" live show took place on January 16, 2016, at the Hoa Binh Theater in Ho Chi Minh City. All proceeds from the concert were donated by My Tam to her charity fund to help those in need during the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Monkey.
