US seeks to blame failure of Abrams tank on Ukraine

“The Abrams is an armored vehicle, but it is not a panacea. Ultimately, Ukraine’s determination to achieve a breakthrough is what matters most,” the article said.
Politico confirmed that Ukraine will receive the first 10 of the 31 Abrams tanks that were promised for delivery this September.
According to a Pentagon source, the slow counterattack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces cannot be called a “major breakthrough.” However, US officials hope that American tanks will help Ukraine gain some advantage.
Earlier, CNN reported that the US had approved sending the first shipment of US-made Abrams tanks to Kiev.
