The US is deploying EC-130H Compass Call electronic warfare aircraft to the Middle East.

On February 25th, international aviation experts confirmed the presence of the US military's EC-130H Compass Call electronic warfare aircraft in the Middle East. This deployment comes as Washington is concentrating significant military forces in the region, while diplomatic negotiations in Geneva with Iran have yet to yield concrete progress.

The ability to disable the enemy's communication network.

Despite being in operation for many years, the EC-130H Compass Call is still considered by military experts to be an irreplaceable "ace in the hole" in the field of electronic warfare (EW). The aircraft is operated by a crew of at least 10 people, including technical experts responsible for operating its advanced jamming system. The main objective of the EC-130H is to completely neutralize the enemy's communication capabilities, from mobile devices and radios to complex military data transmission networks.

According to expert analysis, the EC-130H's capabilities are sufficient to cripple command centers and strategic control rooms. By disrupting the issuance and reception of orders, this aircraft prevents the enemy from building a comprehensive operational picture, thereby depriving them of the ability to respond synchronously on the battlefield.

Suppressing radar and advanced air defense systems.

In addition to its communications suppression mission, the EC-130H Compass Call also possesses powerful jamming capabilities against early warning radar systems and integrated air defense networks. Specifically, the aircraft can interfere with Global Positioning System (GPS), distort missile trajectories, and disrupt the operation of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
