The US is reviewing its policy on Russia and Ukraine.
In addition to reviewing its policies on Russia and Ukraine, the US also submitted a resolution to the UN Security Council on Ukraine's neutrality.
According to RIA Novosti on February 24, US President's National Security Advisor Mike Waltz stated on Fox News that the US is reviewing its stance toward Russia and Ukraine.
"We are looking at how the United States interacts with Russia," the White House National Security Advisor said.
Waltz added that Washington is also changing its policy toward Kyiv, revising the order of aid and demanding an agreement on the sale of strategic resources.
Waltz warned: "We want the American people to see what they can get for the huge investment they have made."
In addition, the UN Security Council will vote on February 24 on a neutral draft resolution on Ukraine proposed by the United States, RIA Novosti quoted the permanent delegation of China, which holds the presidency of the Security Council in February.
"At 3:00 PM (Washington time, or 2:00 AM on February 25th Hanoi time), the Council will vote on the draft resolution submitted by the United States," said the permanent delegation of China, which holds the presidency of the Security Council for February.
The draft resolution of the United Nations Security Council corresponds to the UN General Assembly document proposed by the United States. The US developed this resolution to oppose the Western resolution against Russia, refusing to be a co-author of the resolution.
In the draft resolution submitted to the Security Council, the US avoided mentioning the accusation of "Russian aggression against Ukraine," instead referring to the conflict as "Russia-Ukraine" and expressing condolences for those who died.
