According to RIA Novosti on February 24, US President's National Security Advisor, Mike Waltz, said on Fox News that the US is reviewing its stance towards Russia and Ukraine.

"We are looking at how the United States interacts with Russia," said the White House National Security Advisor.

Washington is also changing its policy towards Kiev, revising the order of aid and demanding agreements on the sale of strategic resources, Mr. Waltz added.

“We want the American people to see what they can get for the huge investment they have made,” Mr. Waltz warned.

In addition, the UN Security Council will vote on February 24 on a neutral draft resolution on Ukraine proposed by the US, RIA Novosti quoted the permanent delegation of China, which holds the presidency of the Security Council in February.

"At 15:00 (Washington time, or 2:00 on February 25 Hanoi time), the Council will vote on the draft resolution submitted by the US," said the permanent delegation of China, which holds the presidency of the Security Council for February.

The draft UN Security Council resolution corresponds to the UN General Assembly document proposed by the US. The US developed this resolution to protest the anti-Russian Western resolution, refusing to be a co-author of the resolution.

In the draft resolution submitted to the Security Council, the US avoided mentioning the accusation of "Russia's invasion of Ukraine", but instead called the conflict "Russia-Ukraine" and expressed condolences for those who died.
