On the afternoon of February 15th, under the chairmanship of Lieutenant Colonel Phan Dai Nghia - Commander of the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Military Command held an online conference to inspect the preparations for the 2022 Military Recruitment Ceremony.
In 2022, Nghe An province was assigned a recruitment quota of 3,394 citizens by the Government, the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security, and Military Region 4. This included 3,150 citizens enlisting in the Army (an increase of 50 citizens compared to 2021) and 244 citizens enlisting in the Police. The quotas included: health classifications of type 1 and type 2 reaching 75% or higher; university/college graduates reaching 5% or higher; and high school graduates reaching 65% or higher…
To prepare well for the 2022 military enlistment day,Nghe An Provincial Military CommandThe Military Command of districts, cities, and towns has directed the Military Command to closely coordinate with local agencies and departments to strengthen the dissemination and education of laws on military service obligations. They have conducted a review of recruitment sources, organized preliminary examinations, and health screenings to ensure quality. Local military service councils have closely coordinated with medical centers and hospitals to deploy qualified medical personnel to meet the demands of the task amidst the extremely complex developments of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Concluding the conference, Lieutenant Colonel Phan Dai Nghia, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, directed agencies and units to effectively coordinate and cooperate with the forces involved in the troop handover process. He also instructed them to continue promoting propaganda through all mass media and visual communication using banners, billboards, and posters. Furthermore, he emphasized strengthening inspection, review, and resolution of any obstacles, especially newly arising issues; and to strictly manage the number of citizens whose enlistment numbers have been finalized.
Given the complex developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Commander of the Provincial Military Command requested that agencies and units closely coordinate with health agencies, hospitals, and local departments to decisively implement disease prevention and control measures; organize the second and third doses of the vaccine, ensuring the health of citizens enlisting in the military, as well as disease prevention and control at the locations where the military handover and reception takes place. This ensures that the 2022 Military Handover and Reception Ceremony is conducted safely and in accordance with the Covid-19 situation.
