17-year-old boy dies after fighting over karaoke
Due to a conflict over who would sing karaoke in a drinking place, Hoang Van Phuc, 17 years old, was chased and slashed to death by a rival group.

According to the investigation, the night before, Tho's group drank at the Beo snail restaurant (Xuan Hung commune, Xuan Loc district) and then got into an argument with Phuc's group. Tho went home to get weapons and, along with the rest of the group, sought revenge on their opponents due to a conflict over karaoke singing.
Arriving at Hamlet 2, Xuan Hung Commune, Tho’s group chased Phuc and his cousin with iron pipes and swords, slashing them. Phuc was taken to the hospital by locals but died. A few hours later, the group of perpetrators were arrested.
