Young man uses SH motorbike to steal buffalo.
(Baonghean.vn) - The Hoang Mai town police announced that they are currently holding Ho Ba Phat (born in 1997), residing in Hamlet 10, Quynh Tan commune (Quynh Luu district), under criminal detention for the crime of theft.
Earlier, on the afternoon of December 17th, the Quỳnh Xuân Ward Police (Hoàng Mai City) received a report from Ms. Lê Thị T., residing in Block 4, Quỳnh Xuân Ward (Hoàng Mai Town), stating that about a week prior, her family had lost a black buffalo that was being grazed in a hilly area in Block 6, Quỳnh Xuân Ward (Hoàng Mai Town).
Thinking the buffalo was lost, she searched many places, and after several days without success, the family reported it to the police.
Upon receiving the report, the Quỳnh Xuân Ward Police immediately deployed investigative measures, conducting verification and screening of suspected individuals.

After 24 hours of intensive investigation and pursuit, at approximately 3:00 PM on December 18, 2020, the Quỳnh Xuân Ward Police arrested Hồ Bá Phát (born in 1997), residing in Hamlet 10, Quỳnh Tân Commune (Quỳnh Lưu District), for the crime of "Theft of property"They confiscated one buffalo, worth approximately 30 million VND, and one SH motorbike."
At the investigative agency, the suspect confessed that on December 11, 2020, while driving his SH motorbike through Block 6, Quynh Xuan Ward, he spotted a herd of buffalo and cows grazing by the roadside without anyone watching them. He then stole one buffalo and took it home to Quynh Tan Commune to hide it. Phat lied to his family, saying he had just bought the buffalo and was waiting to sell it when he was discovered and arrested by the police.

Currently, the Hoang Mai Town Police are consolidating the case file and handling the matter according to the law.
