Enhancing the effectiveness of mass mobilization work in the new situation.

On the morning of September 17th, the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department organized a training course on mass mobilization work for 2020 for officials working in mass mobilization, in charge of grassroots democracy regulations, and in government mass mobilization work at all levels and sectors from the province to the grassroots.

Attending the conference were Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; and members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Cao Thi Hien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Hong Vinh - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and Ngoc Kim Nam - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department.

The training course was attended by over 300 officials representing the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front and provincial-level mass organizations; representatives of leaders and specialists in charge of grassroots mass mobilization work, departments, agencies, and subordinate Party committees; members of the Steering Committee for the Implementation of the Regulations on Grassroots Democracy; the Steering Committee for Government Mass Mobilization Work; the Steering Committee for the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" emulation movement; leaders of district Party committees, district and city People's Committees, and officials working in mass mobilization throughout the province.

In recent times, mass mobilization work in Nghe An province has undergone many innovations, focusing strongly on the grassroots level and achieving relatively comprehensive results. The contents of the "Year of Effective Mass Mobilization" 2020 were focused on and achieved many positive results; the implementation, preliminary review, and final summary of central and provincial documents on mass mobilization work were carried out seriously.

The activities of the Party's Mass Mobilization Department, the Fatherland Front, political and social organizations, and mass associations have been creative and timely in advising the Party committees on resolving emerging issues and matters of public concern; the political system has been strengthened, democratic regulations have been promoted, and consensus among the people and society continues to be fostered…

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Xuan Son emphasized that the Party has always considered mass mobilization work as a strategic task and a responsibility of the entire political system, including mass mobilization work.government's mass mobilizationState agencies hold a paramount position.

Over the past period, despite the difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, mass mobilization efforts have effectively utilized the entire political system to encourage and motivate the people to contribute to and support the fight against the pandemic; creating consensus among the people in implementing the political tasks of localities, agencies, and units.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also frankly pointed out existing shortcomings and limitations such as: The awareness of some officials, Party members, and civil servants regarding mass mobilization work is still limited. The content and methods of mass mobilization work in departments and agencies still face difficulties. Officials assigned to be in charge of mass mobilization work in units do not work regularly, lack clarity on their duties, and still lack skills and methods for mass mobilization work.

He also affirmed that the training conference is of great importance, helping cadres to supplement their knowledge, raise their awareness of political theory and professional skills and expertise to apply them in practice.

Therefore, it is recommended that trainees focus on thoroughly grasping the basic content of the training course so that they can creatively apply it to the practical situations in their localities and units.
